Energy 21C - 2009 AMDTs Launch

The 10th International Transmission and Distribution Conference & Exhibition will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre 6-9 September, 2009.  Preformed Line Products (PLP) will be showcasing their new range of distribution transformers.  Known as Amorphous Metal Distribution Transformers or AMDTs, these transformers are a low loss, highly efficient, cost effective solution contributing to a healthier world environment. Amorphous Metal Distribution Transformers are the way of the future for distribution utility and private sector transformers. Superior engineering performance characteristics combined with sound economic justification and quantifiable environmental benefits make AMDTs the transformer of the future.

PLP is at the service of the Australian market to provide the necessary technical and economic information to assist potential customers in calculating for themselves the millions of dollars to be saved through the purchase and installation of AMDTs.

In addition, PLP will be joined by its 2 divisions – Bluesky Energy, which will be demonstrating its solar capabilities, and Rack Technologies showcasing enclosures for the electrical industry.
