PLP Awarded for Excellence

 Preformed Line Products are breaking records again by winning the Aurora Energy supplier of the year award for the second year running. This is the first time it has been awarded to the same company on consecutive occasions. Aurora Energy General Manager Network Services, Mr Robert Kingsley, outlined the reasons behind awarding Supplier Of The Year to PLP for asecond time. "In recognition of their excellent performance in delivery on time, packaging, accounting security and product quality, as well as their communication, technical knowledge and innovative ideas and processes. Preformed Line Products had performed well above it's contractual obligations by taking increased responsibility for supply relationships and providing high standards of customer service. The excellent communication flow and high level of trust between the two companies has optimised stock supply process which, in turn, has cut administrative overheads," he said.

PLP Managing Director Mr Norman Windell said that over a number of years, Aurora and PLP had built a win-win relationship to be proud of. "Our contract has enabled us to develop a close working relationship with Aurora, overcoming any obstacles on the way to achieving a common goal that both groups are happy with," Mr Windell said.
